OBITUARY ON HAZLETONOBITS.COM

HazletonObits.com accepts obituaries from licensed funeral directors.

Please note that we will NOT publish an obituary or death notice until we have confirmed both the death and the service information with the licensed funeral professional who is handling the service arrangements.

To publish an obituary on HazletonObits.com, please follow the simple steps below:

STEP ONE : COMPOSE THE OBITUARY

Compose the obituary in either WORD or directly in your e-mail program. By all means be creative but please always exhibit good taste. If you would like to include a meaningful poem or scriptural passage as part of the obituary, that's fine with us!

At the bottom of the obituary, please include both the name of the family member (along with their telephone number) who is placing the obit along with the name of the funeral home that is handling the arrangements (provided it is not already a part of the obituary).

STEP TWO : E-MAIL THE OBITUARY TO OUR OFFICE

If you've composed the obituary directly in your e-mail program, send it to FuneralSearch@aol.com. If you've composed the obituary in Word, attach the document to your e-mail and send it to the same address.

Please include the name of the decedent and "HazletonObits.com" on the subject line of your e-mail.

I strongly suggest calling (570) 454-4978 to advise us that you sent the obituary to our office.

HOW TO INCLUDE A PHOTO

We encourage you to include a photo in the online tribute you're creating for a loved one. Simply attach the photo to your e-mail and forward it to us.

BACKGROUND MUSIC

HazletonObits.com, through our parent site FuneralSearch.com, holds a master ASCAP/BMI license to play music on our sites. If you would like a song to play when the obituary is displayed, please forward the Mp3 file to us and we'll convert it to a Flash file and publish it on the obituary page.

STEP THREE : PAY FOR THE OBITUARY

There is a $25.00 fee to publish an obituary on HazletonObits.com. Obituaries remain online for 3-5 days. If you would like it displayed longer, please advise us of this in your e-mail.

For your protection, obituaries are NOT archived; obituary information is immediately deleted from our server after three days have elapsed.

You can pay for an obituary using PayPal OR we will invoice your licensed funeral director. Simply click on the button below and enter your credit card information. Charges on your credit card or bank statement will appear as "FuneralSearch.com."
